Calitzdorp Plant Chat is a series of short stories about plants of the Klein Karoo and elsewhere that was written with the residents of Calitzdorp in mind. Most of the stories originally appeared weekly, and later monthly, in the Calitzdorp Newsletter which was published electronically to publicize the attractions and events in, this small Karoo town that straddles the well-known R62 tourist route.

The first sixty stories have been compiled into a small colourful book that can be ordered here, for R200.00, plus postage.
All opinions expressed therein are those of the author, John Burrows. However, the author accepts no responsibility for any use, or misuse, of any plant or its derivative recorded here.
